Today is the day...

It's 3:45am on Monday, January 11th...I can't sleep because I'm so nervous/anxious. Today is the day our daughter will be born! I can't even imagine that in 5 hours I will have been able to meet her and touch her and kiss her! Amazing!! I'm sooooo ready to be a mommy! We have to be at the hospital today at 6am and my C-section is scheduled for 8:30am, though I hear the doctor is usually running ahead of schedule! I'm all packed and ready to go...Trav is sleeping peacefully with Sasha right now, and as for me, hopefully I'm able to doze off for an hour or two. Baby is sleeping in my belly right now, and I'm just trying to enjoy the last few hours of being pregnant, feeling her little kicks and hiccups, and loving (for the most part) my round tummy!

Say a prayer for us today if you get a chance! This is likely to be the biggest day of our lives and we feel so lucky...thank you, God, for blessing us with a child!!!

Mommy and Daddy want to be the first to wish little baby girl Severson the happiest of birthdays today! We love you and cannot wait to meet you in a few short hours!!
